We will reach out to schedule a brief intro call to learn more and answer questions you have. If it it seems like a good fit for full-service design we will schedule an onsite consultation. From that point, if you wish to proceed, we will submit a proposal for our services.
If we determine together that your project is well suited for a styling package, we will submit an agreement to you as well as an invoice. Once signed and paid, we will schedule your package to kick off!

Typical lead times for project kick off are 3-6 months for full-service design or 4-6 weeks for a styling package—and these get longer as the year progresses. Packages are wrapped in 30-60 days; full-service design and styling takes at least 6-8 months for design and planning.

Full-Service Design
remodels + new builds
Full-service interior design Is our most comprehensive service offering. it’s the heart and soul of what we do.
This offering is known as turn-key design. Your Sparrow team handles all aspects of the project from conceptualization through design oversight during construction, culminating in the procurement and installation of furniture and accessories.
We dig deep to get to know you, how you use your space and what you love. We combine this with our knowledge and signature aesthetic to craft unique design concepts; conduct space planning and draft layouts; source and design all the finishes; and plan furniture and accessories to really execute the full vision for your space. During construction, our design and project management team works closely with your contractor to observe construction and design execution, and to troubleshoot the design if issues arise. Full-service design is a valuable investment and the outcome is truly bespoke, timeless and extraordinary.

We generally book full-service design projects at least 3 months in advance and lead times get longer as the year goes on. Design and construction planning typically takes about 6-8 months but can be longer for larger or complex projects. If you are considering starting a construction project in the next 12-24 months, we recommend you reach out as soon as possible to discuss your project.

Our project minimum for full-service design is $150,000, which represents the project budget prior to paying Sparrow’s design fees.
We assess a fixed fee based on scope and budget, which covers our time from start to finish. This fee is finalized only once the scope, designs and project bid are final. Prior to design, this fee is estimated based on an initial scope and budget number our clients provide.
While we never estimate project budgets, the range in remodel cost for the projects we work on is about $250/SF up to $500/SF depending on room types, finishes selected, and the complexity. New builds are on the higher end of that range.

Full-Service Styling
Furniture + Accessories
for a profound transformation of your home or business without major construction, Sparrow provides full-service styling using the same signature process as full-service design.
We know that you do not necessarily have to undertake a major remodel to achieve your dream home. The right soft goods (furniture + accessories such as rugs, art, window treatments and lighting) can have a truly profound impact on the look of your home, how you live, and how you and your guests feel when you’re in it. Dedicating thoughtfulness and artfulness to your furniture can truly change everything. Using the same process as we do with full-service design, we manage the style execution from concept through installation. We address room challenges; craft the fundamental style, creating unique concepts and layouts; and design, customize and procure the furniture and accessories needed to bring the vision for your space to completion. With this service, we do manage small renovation components such as fresh paint, wallpaper, trimming out existing plumbing or new lighting. By working with Sparrow, our clients gain exclusive access to our network; and when the budget allows, we design and commission custom art, window treatments, lighting and furniture. Once design concepts are approved, we procure, track, receive, inspect, handle claims, store, transport, install and style everything. We take the guesswork and stress out of creating a strong, sophisticated and confidently styled space for you and your family or team to enjoy. Because we tailor our concepts for each home and each family, choosing quality over trend, you should only have to do this once.

Like full service construction design, this is our premiere design service for sourcing and installation furniture and accessories (lighting, rugs, art, etc.) We typically book new projects around 3 months in advance of their start date, and can generally have furniture and accessories designed, sourced, and installed within a few months depending on the size and scope of the project as well as lead times on furniture. It’s a good idea to get in touch with us a year in advance of wanting your space to be complete.

The minimum budget for full-service styling is $20,000 (per room average) for furniture and accessories. We assess a fixed fee based on the size, scope and budget of the project.
Sparrow is a licensed reseller, and we purchase from high quality retailers, exclusive wholesale/to the trade vendors, as well as vintage and antique shops and dealers. We also design custom furniture, window treatments and accessories. When our clients have special existing furniture, accessories, or art that fit the aesthetic, we love to work those in. These tactics not only create a more authentic space, but they help balance costs between higher end and less costly or existing pieces.
For projects that fall below our minimum, or if you’re on a really tight timeline and just need guidance on layouts and key furniture and accessories, we suggest one of our Styling Packages.
Styling Packages
package 1: Style-A-Room
The SR Package is designed for residential clients who want help picking furniture and accessories for up to 2 rooms in their home.
Your stylist will work with you to define the style of your room(s) within the existing or future/planned style context of your home; design mood boards with furniture and accessories; and provide a layout guide for all furniture. To keep the SR package budget-friendly, Sparrow does everything remotely, using virtual tools such as video call, Pinterest, digital mood boards and clickable shopping lists. As our client partner, you take photos and measurements and handle any sampling and ordering of all products. This package is for furniture and accessories in a residential setting only and also does not include remodel advising.

SR clients receive 2-3 furniture concepts, at least one layout per concept, and a shopping list for you to purchase the exact furniture and accessories (rugs, lamps, etc.) recommended OR to use as a guide on style, color, and sizing if you wish to find alternative items at a different cost.

The SR package is $1,500 per standard-sized residential room (customized pricing available on rooms that are larger/multi-use.) Payment for your package is due at the time of agreement signing in order to schedule.
On average, you can expect to have your final styling package within 3 weeks (per room).

The goals and outcomes of PDB vary from project to project depending on our clients’ needs and the project scope. We invite you to discuss the kind of support you’re looking for with your designer right away. Unlike SR, with PDB your designer can go onsite, order samples, meet in person at our office to review materials, etc. However, we collaborate virtually as much as possible and require our clients to take a strong partnership role.

PDB works like a retainer with pre-purchased banks of hours. Our starting bank is $1,500 for residential projects and $2,000 for commercial, which gives you 10 hours of design support for 30 days. If we expect the scope to take more time, we can provide an estimate on hours but so much depends on how we work together and the level of support you need from us. In our experience remodel consultations for kitchens and bathrooms take closer to 15-20 hours, however there is no requirement to purchase more than the minimum.
The initial bank of hours purchased is good for 30 days. Any additional hours added (5-hour increments) within those 30 days grants an additional 30 days. Any further hours used during that time are billed post package completion. PDB packages do not exceed 60 days. This package is highly client-driven and the timeline is short so we recommend being organized with what you need from us! Payment for your package is due at the time of agreement signing in order to schedule.
Please note: because packages are offered over a short period of time, there is a scope threshold for PDB. If what you’re looking for supersedes this threshold, we may suggest full-service design or styling to more adequately adequately schedule the time needed to plan and deliver.
Package 2: Pick a Designer’s Brain
PDB is our consultation package for home and business owners, providing access to a sparrow designer for a limited time.
The PDB Package allows us to support the design phase of a remodel by recommending finishes such as tile, countertop, paint colors, wallpaper, light fixtures, flooring style, plumbing trim and some furniture and accessories. Additionally, we can support custom window treatment and furniture projects you’re undertaking by consulting with you on fabrics and basic styles. We shrink the universe of finish options and put together confident combinations to help ensure you get a space you really want and that lasts.
PDB is consultative only—if you are building or remodeling, we can review your existing plans and offer guidance and considerations to discuss with your contractor; likewise, if you want to have custom window treatments or furniture made, we can advise you on working with your fabricator. But with PDB, Sparrow does not create remodel or custom design plans or work directly with contractors or fabricators.
