If your project is a good fit for full-service, we will schedule an onsite consultation. If your project is better suited for a package, we can submit the contract and take the deposit to schedule your project after our call.

Please be advised that lead times for full-service design kick off can be 3 months, and these lead times get longer later in the year. Our styling packages are just a few weeks out.

Keep in mind, full-service design has project budget minimums (before design fee) of $125,000 for renovation and/or $20,000 (per room) for sourcing furniture and accessories. For smaller budgets, choose one of our styling packages from the drop-down below.

Are you looking for project management as well as design support?

Full-service design includes design, planning, collaboration with your contractor, and design oversight during construction (if required) to ensure the design intent is honored at every stage and ultimately achieved. It puts us in the over-arching project management position for the project including co-management with your contractor. during the construction phase. What is your approximate budget?

We know disclosing budgets up front can feel weird, but any interior designer will ask right away. At the most basic level, it is an immediate qualifier of fit of a project and under which service offering. We will still have to determine at a consultation whether what you want to and can spend is congruent with scope. Also, the more flexibility you have the better. Sparrow's agreement to take on a project is not a guarantee of budget. We will only know total costs once we have a chance to move through the planning phase and work with a contractor if your project includes remodel or new construction. Note that styling packages do not have budget minimums. If you're interested in one of our packages, a very rough project budget estimate on furniture/finishes is sufficient.

Does this budget include the design fee?

For full-service design or styling, your budget must meet Sparrow's minimums ($125,000 for renovation and $20,000 per room for furniture/accessories) BEFORE the design fee is assessed. Sparrow's design and project management cost is generally 18-25% of the total project budget.

What is your ideal and/or absolute timeline?

Sparrow typically schedules new full-service design projects to begin 90-120 days from agreement signing depending on time of year/current project load, and we do not schedule new projects in November-December. Full-service design takes months, sometimes longer. If you're interested in a styling package, lead times are much shorter and our project deliverables are wrapped within 2 months (sometimes much less)!
