We will reach out to schedule a brief intro call to learn more and answer questions you have. If it it seems like a good fit for full-service design we will schedule an onsite consultation. From that point, if you wish to proceed, we will submit a proposal for our services.
If we determine together that your project is well suited for a styling package, we will submit an agreement to you as well as an invoice. Once signed and paid, we will schedule your package to kick off!

Typical lead times for project kick off are 3-6 months for full-service design or 4-6 weeks for consultation—and these get longer as the year progresses. Packages are wrapped in 30-60 days; full-service design and styling takes an average of 6-8 months for design and planning. Flexibility in start date is important for working with a designer so please reach out with plenty of lead time.
Full-Service Design

Full-service Interior design Is our heart and soul.
Also known as “turnkey design,” full-service design is our most robust and comprehensive service offering. Our team handles everything from conceptualization through completion. We spend a lot of time getting to know you and your space. We combine what you love with our knowledge and signature aesthetic to craft unique design concepts and plans; source and design all finishes; and procure furniture and accessories to execute the full vision. When architecture is required, Sparrow will work with your architect or recommend one for you.
During construction, our design and project management team works closely with your contractor to observe construction and design execution, and to troubleshoot the design if issues arise. Full-service design is a significant and valuable investment in a process and outcome that is bespoke, timeless and extraordinary.

Please review our latest on lead times at the top of our inquiry form, but on average we are 3-4 months out from starting any new project. Once we begin, design and planning typically takes about 6-8 months, and longer for larger or more complex projects. If you are considering starting a construction project in the next 12-24 months, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible.
Project minimums for full-service remodel design are $175,000. This represents a project budget prior to assessing any design or planning fees. Interior design service for new builds are assessed per project and based on budget/SF, so let’s discuss in an introductory call once you fill out our form.
To help our clients budget for their remodel, the residential projects we design cost an average of $350/SF to complete. This may decrease for living spaces without a major electrical, mechanical or plumbing changes, and may increase for spaces that emphasize those components, significant custom work and/or home additions. New clients should be prepared to discuss with their designer early on.

A major remodel is not the only way to create a home you love. The right furniture and accessories can have a profound impact on the look of your home, how you live, and how you and your guests feel when they’re in it.
Using the same process as we do with full-service design, we manage the style execution from concept through installation. We address room challenges; craft the vision, creating unique concepts and layouts; and design, customize and procure the furniture and accessories needed to bring the vision for your space to life.
By working with Sparrow, our clients gain exclusive access to our artisan and vendor network, including for custom art, window treatments, lighting and furniture. We source, procure, track, inspect, handle claims, store, transport, install and style everything. We take the stress out of creating a strong, sophisticated and confidently styled spaces for you and your family or team to enjoy. Because we tailor unique concepts for each project , choosing quality over trend, you should only have to do this one time. Full-service styling can include small renovation components such as fresh paint, wallpaper, trimming out existing plumbing or new lighting.

Like full service construction design, this is our premiere design service for sourcing and installation furniture and accessories (lighting, rugs, art, etc.) Lead times generally run 3-4 months before we can begin a new project, and we can generally have furniture and accessories designed, sourced, and installed within a few months depending on the size and scope of the project, extent of custom work, and lead times. It’s a good idea to get in touch with us at least a year in advance of wanting your space to be complete. But it doesn’t mean we can’t do it sooner.
We serve clients with a wide range of soft goods budgets, but our minimum to provide full-service styling is $25,000 per standard room (or an average of $25,000/room on multi-room projects) to put toward a full suite of furniture and accessories. If your project doesn’t mean this minimum, we can still provide consultation and source and recommend furniture with our Style a Room Package offering below.

our Consultative design services are simple and accessible. Most of our consultative projects, especially residential, fit very well within the two “Packages” offered below. For larger commercial consultation that does not meet the timeline or other parameters of Pick a Designer’s Brain (Package 2), we can discuss design support that uniquely fit your project’s needs and timeline. Please fill out our inquiry form to discuss further.
package 1: Style-A-Room
The SR Package is designed for residential clients who want help picking furniture and accessories for up to 2 rooms in their home.
Your designer will work with you to define the style of your room(s) within the existing or future/planned style context of your home. To keep the SR package budget-friendly, Sparrow does everything remotely, using virtual tools such as video call, Pinterest, digital mood boards and clickable shopping lists. As our client partner, you take photos and measurements and handle any sampling and ordering of all products. This package is for furniture and accessories in a residential setting only and also does not include remodel advising.
For commercial styling or a package that allows for finish consultation for a remodel, see Package 2 below. To proceed with purchasing an SR Package, please fill out our intake form below. Payment is due in full for this service at the time of contract signing in order to schedule your project to begin.

SR clients receive 2-3 furniture concepts per room, at least one layout per concept, and a shopping list for you to purchase the exact furniture and accessories (rugs, lamps, etc.) recommended OR to use as a guide on style, color, and sizing if you wish to find alternative items at a different cost.

The SR package is $1,800 per standard-sized residential room (customized pricing available on rooms that are larger/multi-use.) Payment for your package is due at the time of agreement signing in order to schedule.
On average, you can expect to have your final styling package within 3 weeks (per room).

The goals and outcomes of PDB vary from project to project depending on our clients’ needs and the project scope. We invite you to discuss the kind of support you’re looking for with your designer right away. Unlike SR, with PDB your designer can go onsite if projects are local and doing so supports the project goals. However, to make the most of Sparrow’s time and our clients’ investment, we collaborate virtually as much as possible and require our clients to take a strong partnership role.

PDB works like a retainer with pre-purchased banks of hours. Our starting bank is $1,750 for residential projects and $2,000 for commercial, which gives you 10 hours of design support for 30 days. If we expect the scope to take more time, we can provide an estimate on hours but so much depends on how we work together and the level of support you need from us. In our experience, remodel consultations for kitchens and bathrooms take 15-20 hours, however there is no requirement to purchase more than the minimum.
The initial bank of hours purchased is good for 30 days. Any additional hours added (5-hour increments) within those 30 days grants an additional 30 days. Any further hours used during that time are billed post package completion. PDB packages do not exceed 60 days. This package is highly client-driven, and deliverables depend on the client and the project. With the short timeline, we recommend being organized with what you need from us! Payment for at least the minimum hours is due at the time of agreement signing in order to schedule.
Please note: because packages are offered over a short period of time, there is a scope threshold for PDB of 50 hours. If what you’re looking for exceeds this threshold, we may suggest full-service to more adequately adequately schedule the time needed to plan and deliver.
Package 2: Pick a Designer’s Brain
PDB is our consultation package for home and business owners, providing access to a sparrow designer for a limited time.
The PDB Package allows us to support the design phase of a remodel by recommending finishes such as tile, countertop, paint colors, wallpaper, light fixtures, flooring style, plumbing trim and some furniture and accessories. Additionally, we can support custom window treatment and furniture projects you’re undertaking by consulting with you on fabrics and basic styles. We shrink the universe of finish options and put together confident combinations to help ensure you get a space you really want and that lasts.
PDB is consultative only—if you are building or remodeling, we can review existing plans and offer guidance and considerations to discuss with your contractor; likewise, if you want to have custom window treatments or furniture made, we can advise you on fabric and working with your fabricator. With PDB, Sparrow does not create remodel or custom design plans or work directly with contractors or fabricators.
