The historic home previously on this site was falling apart when the new owners purchased the property. So they took it down to its foundation and redesigned in the same footprint. Initially planning to do the interior design on their own, they called Sparrow months into constriction to rectify what they considered a disjointed design and unclarified aesthetic direction.

We set to work designing around what they already had: a framed interior layout, most of the electrical and plumbing rough-in, pre-purchased black windows, and cabinets and appliances. We adjusted, sourced and finalized all finishes, as well as all furniture layouts and concepts–everything from paint color, millwork design, doors, lighting, to plumbing fittings and fixtures, flooring, hardware, countertops, furniture and accessories. Still to come are the custom window treatments!

Sparrow’s total time on the project was 18 months.
